ROJAS BLUEBONNETS REVIEW – CALIFORNIA
Summary: The smell of this cigar is seriously arousing -- something like springtime mornings in an orchard. Starting out, I'm picking up cream, green and white pepper, and a bread-like sweetness.
Floral notes and jicama kick off the second third. The wrapper quality and ash are absolutely beautiful (10/10 pic potential). That jicama note from earlier might be closer to sugar snap peas; there's a slightly drying mouthfeel, but the subtle sweetness has me salivating. A veritable enigma.
Entering the final third, there's a profile change to cocoa, coffee, and caramel. Chalk this one up as a big win.

ROJAS BLUEBONNETS REVIEW – WISCONSIN
Summary: This cigar starts out with cream, leather, walnut, and graham cracker. It continues along with a light amount of pepper, and also adds hay, chocolate, and cereal grain.
The burn was right on point. The draw was tight; tight enough to impact the experience. This may have been a box recommendation with a better draw. As it was, it was still a very enjoyable cigar.

ROJAS BLUEBONNETS REVIEW – OREGON
Summary: The caramel and cocoa colored wrapper on this cigar looks exquisite. Very smooth leaf and a partial/mostly closed foot. Cold draw is maybe just a shade tight and offers pure dry straw flavor... like a harvested Kansas wheat field in August.
Opening notes include a mildly sweet nuttiness, just a nod at orange zest and wood notes mixed with dry grass in the background. Retro haling the smoke brings a bit of heat with a sharp finish, some floral and citrus flavor and more of that dry grass.
Approaching the middle... plagued by touch-ups and draw issues. This stick is still managing some enjoyable flavors though. Warm oak notes with some baking spices in the background and a tingle on the top of my tongue from some pepper; it’s quite mild, however.
Finishing with yet more construction woes including multiple touch-ups and flavors suffering from the cigar attempting to start what we call “canoeing”. I hope I just received the anomaly stick and the other guys fared better.
