This notice explains how Small Batch Cigar collects, uses and shares personal information on smallbatchcigar.com. Our site is for adults 21 and over, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone younger.

What we collect

• Account and order details: your name, email address, phone number, shipping and billing addresses, date of birth, and what you buy.
• Usage information: how the site is used, such as pages viewed, searches, device and browser type, and approximate location from IP address. Most of this reaches us only as statistics from our analytics, search and security services. When you place an order we also record your IP address to help prevent fraud, and if you're on our email list we can see whether you open our marketing emails.
• Messages: anything you send us.

Card details go directly to our payment processor. We never see or store your full card number.

How we use it

To process and deliver your orders, confirm you are 21 or older, prevent fraud, run and improve the site, and send you order updates and marketing emails. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time.

Who we share it with

We share it with companies that help us run the store: payment processors, an identity-verification service that confirms your age, shipping carriers and shipping software, email and hosting providers, and our search, security and analytics services, including Google Analytics. We may also share information when the law requires it, to protect our rights, or with a buyer if our business is sold.

We don't sell your personal information or share it with other companies for their own advertising or marketing.

Cookies and tracking

We use cookies to run the store (your cart, sign-in and security), remember things like products you've viewed, protect the site from bots, and measure how the site is used. Some are set by our security, search and analytics services. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but checkout won't work without the essential ones.

We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used. You can read how Google uses this information and opt out with Google's browser add-on.

Our site doesn't respond to “Do Not Track” browser signals, since there is no common standard for them. Apart from the service providers above, we don't let other companies collect information about your activity on our site, and we don't track you across other websites.

Your choices

• Update your account details in My Account.
• Unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in any of them.
• Email us to get a copy of your information or to have it corrected or deleted. We keep order records for as long as tax law requires.
