WILDFIRE THE INTRO REVIEW – DOM

Summary: The wrapper feels velvety soft. Strange. A ton of sweetness in the initial puff has me scratching my head because I can’t tell if I like it or if it tastes cheap.  Progressing at a rapid pace, cocoa powder and corn flakes bring balance to the sweet.  Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal puts me once again in a pickle. Do I have good memories of eating Cinnamon Toast Crunch as a kid?  Yes.  Would I enjoy a bowl of the cereal today?  Not so much.

Ripping past the halfway marker, this cigar is smoking at a serious clip.  At the finish line, I’ve reached a verdict.  This is not a bad cigar.  It’s just one that I’d prefer to smoke while working in the yard instead of bringing in the new year.

WILDFIRE THE INTRO REVIEW – RICH

Summary: This cigar hit me with a straightforward but enjoyable profile of cream, cedar, peanut, grass, and hay.

The ash fell off easily - watch where you hold this one or you'll wear ash. It burned and drew well.

WILDFIRE THE INTRO REVIEW – BEN

Summary: First puff tastes like what it smells like to walk through a horse barn. Hay. Ammonia. Cashews. Sour. Large smoke output. Couldn't taste anything else because I was too busy holding my breath, if that's even possible.

WILDFIRE THE INTRO REVIEW – TED

Summary:  Closed foot on this stick.  Glued closed.  Not a whisper of air getting through pre-light.  Starting with mild notes of wood and lemon zest, white pepper, nutmeg, and a bit of piney flavor… odd.  Great smoke output.  This cigar is burning quickly too.

Moving into the middle, mild wood and lemony flavors remain but I’m now tasting the addition of some creamy textured coffee notes and some hints at baking spices.  The retro hale is definitely a bit of a pepper bomb.  This would be a great cigar for a new smoker.  Not overly complex but will keep you interested.

In the last section, there just isn’t much change for me except the expected uptick in strength and tobacco notes.  This cigar is consistent in performance and flavors.  I’d say you couldn’t go wrong giving this a try and see if it fits your palate.
