SOMM BDX REVIEW – DOM
Summary: The sweetness coming from this broadleaf wrapped cigar is insane. Honey, cherry, and some lemon hit the front of the palate while chocolate covered almonds present a more traditional finish.
Smelling the smoke, wintergreen and a floral note fill the room.
Halfway down and I kid you not, radish is the dominant flavor. The final third returns to norm-form with dark chocolate and coffee. At the nub, red pepper and peanut butter hit the spot for fans of a spicy and creamy finish.

SOMM BDX REVIEW – RICH
Summary: This cigar brought lots of earth, sweet cream, dark chocolate, pecan, and a little bit of coffee.
The burn got a little off once, but otherwise construction was on point. I'll happily smoke this again. It didn't quite pop for me as something that I need to chase down a box of, though.

SOMM BDX REVIEW – BEN
Summary: Dark and dry looking but naturally sweet to taste, a combination attributed to both hickory and dried fruit notes. A little minty on the retro with butterscotch and peppercorn to finish. Stayed consistent all the way through. Smoked mine to the nub!
If You Like That, You Might Like This: Enjoying a playoff game
Pairing Suggestion: Rye bourbon

SOMM BDX REVIEW – TED
Summary: Leading off with flavors of charred meat, wood, bran flakes, nutmeg, cocoa powder, and a mild heat. Tasting a slightly vegetal-based heat in the retro hale.
Even stronger vegetal flavors in the middle section. Wood, grilled meat, and cocoa remain as well along with earthiness. Definitely tasting a stronger, and lingering, pepper spice on the tongue.
Decent performance from a stick with a wide open draw. Never heated up or went out, acceptable burn line, great smoke production. It does seem to be burning quickly.
Final section is bringing lots of cocoa. Also, baking spice notes and wood flavors with a hint of coffee. The profile is warm and smooth… but again I’m tasting an increasingly strong vegetal note. It’s not bad, it’s just not my favorite. There’s more pepper spice in the retro hale.
