SAN LOTANO DOMINICANO REVIEW – CALIFORNIA
Summary: Decent draw with just a punch, but man this thing is dense with tobacco; there's almost zero give to it. Dirt and earth. Cynar adds some much-needed depth to the mix. The smell of the smoke offers some petunias, but I don't taste that note when smoking. For a large ring gauge, the burn-line is exceptional. Some molasses.
The floral scent from before has finally planted itself in the dirt in the second third. No other transitions, but the burn-line is still solid.
Final third is starting to get hot on my palate and there's still a good amount of cigar to burn. I have to put it down with a good two inches left because I want to taste my meals two days from now. If you're into large ring gauge sticks heavy on the earth, this might be for you.

SAN LOTANO DOMINICANO REVIEW – WISCONSIN
Summary: Looking this cigar over, the wrapper seems to have a whole lot of cigar glue all over it. I wonder what the cause was as I light it up.
It brought flavors of earth, pepper, cream, cocoa, graham cracker, baking spices, and pretzel. Earth was dominant throughout.
The draw was loose, and the burn got wavy from time to time, but always fixed itself.
If You Like That, You Might Like This: Earth, earth baby.
Pairing Suggestion: Bourbon.

SAN LOTANO DOMINICANO REVIEW – OREGON
Summary: This cigar falls into the category of cigar sizes I don’t smoke very often. Just by guessing I’d say it’s a 6 x 60. The wrapper of the cigar isn’t giving any clues about the flavors, but the foot has sort of sweet fruity smell to it... which seems odd. The cold draw has that same sensation to it. It’s like overripe raspberries.
Warm cedar, vanilla and dried, dark fruit and mild tobacco start things off. Pretty good profile but the flavors are fairly muted. The ash is solid and white, but the burn is pretty crazy.
In the middle part of this cigar the flavors remain very muted. It’s actually difficult to pick out many flavors at all. Mostly, I’d describe it as mild tobacco with a touch of sweetness.
Last third of this stick and zero changes from the middle. Muted profile with very little in the way of flavors.
