DOS CIENTOS INDEPENDENCE REVIEW – CALIFORNIA
Summary: The cold draw on this toro is slightly tight. Lighting up, leather and banana have me wondering if this cigar is on any watch lists. The flavors lean toward musky bitterness as the first cinderblock of ash falls.
Halfway through, Folger’s coffee grounds have me reaching for water often. Leather dominates the remainder. Superb construction, subpar concoction.
If You Like That, You Might Like This: Bootstrap's bootstraps.
Pairing Suggestion: Frappuccino.
Purchase Recommendation to a Friend: Single.
DOS CIENTOS INDEPENDENCE REVIEW – WISCONSIN

Construction is impeccable. Not a single issue throughout.
This cigar was flat-out excellent and I am looking forward to smoking more of them.
If You Like That, You Might Like This: Happiness, and of course you like happiness.

DOS CIENTOS INDEPENDENCE REVIEW – OREGON
Summary: Not getting much from the wrapper of the cigar but from the foot, it smells like toasted cinnamon bread. Cold draw is open and I’m tasting straw, a mixture of cereal grains and a hint of baking spices.
Ok, heat rolling. Jumping out with bold wood and strong black tea notes. There’s this odd pungent note… like an overly ripe, purple plum almost past its prime. But it’s the end of summer, and you eat it anyway. The retro hale is where this tobacco is really shining for me right now. The smoke is creamy smooth, carrying a mix of oak, dark fruit, a minor mineral note, and a strong black pepper finish.
Halfway mark. Sharp notes of wood and sourdough. There is a hint of coffee rather than tea and the fruit note has a bit of bite to it as well. Perfect burn, tons of smoke… A+ construction thus far. A good healthy dose of retro hale smoke yields a smoother profile. Creamy notes of leather, wood, peanut, pepper and coffee.
Finishing strong! It’s a seriously smooth mixture of wood, coffee, raisin, sourdough and pepper. So good. Zero issues with burn, tons of smoke output.
If You Like That, You Might Like This: Cigars with bold profiles.
Pairing Suggestion: Espresso con panna
Purchase Recommendation to a Friend: Box this up.
