FREUD SUPEREGO REVIEW – DOM
Summary: After last week’s review, caramel deliciousness and banana are as welcoming as dessert on a desert island. The sweetness decreases a touch and transitions to a nutty banana bread. Nilla wafers!
Halfway through, light roast coffee and peanuts drive this cigar with hands behind the head on cruise control. My palate drying slightly, it’s time for the final third. Although I do not fault the cigar for it, a saxophone reed note gives me flashbacks to middle school which is not ideal. The first two thirds definitely shone brighter than the final third.

FREUD SUPEREGO REVIEW – RICH
Summary: This cigar brings notes of cookie dough, dark chocolate, graham cracker, brown sugar, and cream. Near the halfway point, pepper spice and coffee join the party. The flavor profile doesn’t change much, but it's awesome and doesn’t need to.
There wasn't a single thing to complain about on the construction front.

FREUD SUPEREGO REVIEW – BEN
Summary: Starts with an incredibly loose draw. Warm tingles on the retro while potent cedar settles on my tongue but not without some spice; with every release, it's like the heat and spice that comes from licking hot sauce off your fingers. I welcome the numbness on the center of my tongue. Second half serves up floral notes of the tea variety and a touch of cinnamon or nutmeg. Not sure which.
Because of the loose tobacco, I relit a few times. Tongue remained tingly. Flavor was right up my alley.

FREUD SUPEREGO REVIEW – TED
Summary: This week’s stick featured a beginning with mild floral notes, graham, caramel, wood and a bit of sweetness. It also had a long finish of bolder than expected tobacco flavors, with body and strength to match. The smoke was smooth and rich, draw perfect and burn was maintenance free.
Further in I tasted stronger wood notes, umami (pork), graham, black tea and the whole mix still pulled off some sweetness.
The home stretch got dark. Wood, tobacco, leather, black tea and earth combined to create density and heaviness overall.

Participants in this blind review were completely unaware of the cigar they were evaluating until all submissions were received and processed. Each participant was asked to answer a summary paragraph, an if/than statement, a pairing suggestion, and a purchase suggestion. Cigars were provided by Small Batch with only the expectations of candid responses. All pictures, information, and formatting were completed by a Coordinator outside of the reviewing process.
