Summary: This beautifully wrapped belicoso starts with cedar, green apple, and some light brown sugar. Oscillating between pine tree and a faint fruity sweetness, this cigar has nuances that might be missed if smoked inside a smoky lounge. An inch down, chocolate joins in the background and freshly baked bread takes front stage.
The wombo combo of flavors does not stop in the second half—sesame seeds and tootsie rolls keep my full attention. Here’s my hot take: if someone who only smoked Cuban cigars asked for a “New World” recommendation, I think they’d thoroughly enjoy this cigar.

Summary: Tastes like wet wood; not to be confused with dry wood. I really have to learn to utilize my ashtray because my lap is a snowstorm. Again. The tip of my tongue tingles while the retro hale feels like the most perfect piece of toast. Between a couple bitter moments and it burning quickly, my nose started to crinkle.

Summary: This stick has a wrapper leaf colored like milk chocolate. Can we hope it’s that good?
Opening scene… I’m tasting a creamy mix of hay, graham cracker, fresh cut wood, coffee, and a touch of sweetness. The retro hale is a smooth mix of heat and sweet. Let’s add a dash of cardamom in there as well. As fast as things developed, they are quickly tapering off. Staying with a mildly sweet mix of wood, leather, graham, and coffee.
Center stage. There’s a bit more body and strength here. The profile is heavy up front with wood and creamy coffee with a long finish of leather and mild baking spices. Clinging onto the very back end is some pepper spice as well. I do have one critical observation and that is low smoke production. I want this thing to boil, but it’s stuck on simmer.
Curtain call time and I’m enjoying an uptick in smoke production along with another increase in strength. Heavier notes of wood and dark coffee along with a healthy amount of baking spices and some red pepper spiciness in the sinuses make for a satisfying ending.
