Matt Booth Returns in Collaboration with Caldwell and A.J. Fernandez

Earlier this year, the cigar world was surprised when Matt Booth announced that Room 101 was severing ties with Davidoff.  And then, the rumor mill took flight when Matt was tagged in this picture on Facebook at A.J. Fernandez's factory and featured in CigarNoise Weekly less than a week after the big announcement.  Although nothing was confirmed until today, fan remains hopeful that Boothy would return eventually.

Cigar Aficionado reported minutes ago that Matt Booth has now returned with two new brands in collaboration with A.J. Fernandez and Robert Caldwell.

"It was great to work with friends and create a new product with them," Booth told Cigar Aficionado. "This was meant to be a true collaboration and a reinvention of myself. I stepped away from the business and now that I'm back, am able to participate more in the creative process. I find myself excited about tobacco in the same way I was when I first started in the industry."
