Discussion Contest: What Have You Used Rewards Points For?

Discussion Contest: What Have You Used Rewards Points For?

Happy Tuesday, folks!

One of the amazing perks of being part of the Small Batch family is rewards points.  In the interest of bringing more awareness to this feature, I’m curious what some of your favorite rewards points purchases have been!

What have you used your rewards points on so far?

Our customer service is world-class and won me over instantly when I made my first purchase a few years ago.  And it’s that very same customer service which makes me extremely proud to write for Small Batch.  My point is… Small Batch was already a top tier cigar provider.  When we announced rewards points (equaling roughly 5% cash back) in 2017 we became a top tier cigar provider on steroids!

But—and there’s a but—I know for a fact there are plenty of cigar enthusiasts out there that are unaware of this amazing perk.  I remember showing my Dad the last time we were visiting, and he was surprised to have cash redemption value.

Talk to us:

  • Did you know about Rewards Points before this post?
  • What’s been some of your favorite redemptions so far?
  • Anything you’re saving up for currently?

You can read more about Rewards Points here, including how to check your balance, what they can and cannot be used on, minimum usage, etc.

I am slowly but surely saving up my points. Although I don't know what sticks I'll be looking for at that time, I do know that they will be excellent (as all my SBC purchases have been) and I will happily use the rewards to offset the dreaded CA tobacco taxes! Keep up the great work!

Spent some on the Warped Skyflower, Opus X, and Davidoff Year of the Pig.

I've used my points on various purchases. Most recently I used my points to get a Saka Unicorn. I think the amount I ended up paying after points was $2.30. It makes it not seem like I spent $100 for a single cigar when you only end up paying a little over $2 for it!

I save my points to renew my VIP membership last renewal It only cost me $32.00 to renew
Best deal out there

I tend to use my points once it hits the $10.00 mark, just don't have the will power to wait any longer.  With the promotions, customer service and reward points, the customer experience is the best I've encountered online!

I haven't used my points yet. I just saving them for now until the time is right. When is that? I don't know.

I always have intentions of saving my points... never happens. I use them to make impulse purchases I shouldn’t. It helps me rationalize... lol

The reward points certainly add to the benefit of the SBC experience. I am currently saving for that delicious Atabey.

I am still building up my rewards points! When I get enough, I will most likely use them on some Roma Craft!  Thanks for doing this!

I haven't been saving them, I usually just apply them when I am asked if I want to.

I law spent my rewards points on a box of Foundation Chartered Oak shade rothchilds. Fantastic morning smoke with a cup of coffee.

I just hit the $10 mark for the first time and already spent them on the Winter Mix 2019 pack.

I am waiting to cash in as soon as the Editor's Choice 2019 sampler returns to stock.  I love the curated samplers but used the last reward points for DOW Robusto fiver.

Every time I have enough, I just go ahead and use them. It brings down the prices of a lot of different purchases. I really dig the rewards program.

I was aware of the reward points.  In the past I've just used them as quickly as I could, but it might be a neat idea to save them up to buy something, especially something I might not normally buy.

I am still hoarding them but my plan is to use them to send myself some strategic 5 packs along the Appalachian trail this summer.

Currently saving up for some boxes of Warped cigars. Haven't decided which blend yet however...

I usually use my points when a LE I cant wait to try is released. LE's are usually impulse buys for me and I cannot contain myself, with certain brands.... But with that said, I love the fact that the points can be used on virtually everything SBC has to offer, no restrictions like all the other sites that remove the stuff I am interested in, right off the bat.

Haven't redeemed yet but am really close to a jar of Byron Poemas.  Feel less guilty (and less ridiculous) using "house money" to put those in the cabinet. Thanks SBC.

I don't use my points on every purchase and let them accumulate. When I have second thoughts of a potential purchase due to cost, the points become a tipping point in decision making and is greatly appreciated at that time.

I love the rewards program, it’s a great way to reward good customers for their loyalty.  My most recent rewards point redemption was used toward the purchase of a jar of the new Warped Unico.  It got me a great price break on a really fabulous cigar!

I bought the fabulous Tuesday Treats Sampler last month, using my 238 points combined with the $25 gift card from my recent Daily Batch Blog Discussion Contest win. It felt like I had won the lottery!
