THE CONQUEROR REVIEW – DOM
Summary: Barely making a dent into the grannie panties cap, I find the draw to be impressively impeccable for this size of cigar. Brown sugar, lemon and orange citrus, and oak suit my fancy. Warm, vegetal sweetness calls to mind caramelized carrots or yams. On the palate, the smoke takes on an olive oil-esque feel to it, and I'm about to steal Popeye's girl.
Halfway through, the complexity plateaus but is still very much enjoyable. Orange and cardamom. Hopefully the price point is sensible because the first bit definitely gave me Davidoff vibes.

THE CONQUEROR REVIEW – RICH
Summary: This cigar brings notes of earth, leather, black pepper, peanut, and espresso. It has a bitterness reminiscent of black coffee - the kind of bitterness that I find enjoyable rather than off-putting.
Construction-wise, the draw and burn are both right on point. If you like a large volume of smoke, this cigar fits the bill. Smoke just pours out of this thing.

THE CONQUEROR REVIEW – TED
Summary: Pinkies up. It’s lancero time. It’s extra fancy with a pigtail cap as well. Slightly tight cold draw. Honey and black tea flavors before we heat things up.
Very mild notes of honey, hay, almond, leather, and orange. Ultra conservative smoke output. Further in and there’s an uptick in the smoke along with the addition of baking spices and some floral notes. Still struggling with a tight draw.
Hitting the middle portion… lots of floral and mild wood notes. Still tasting hints of baking spices and I’m finding a little pepper spice in the retro hale too. I believe the tight draw is really hurting the flavors. Smoke is minimal.
Near the end of this cigar and it’s a fight to find a path for air through it. Mild baking spice, leather, walnut, wood, floral notes and tea make up the finishing profile.

Pairing Suggestion: Espresso martini.
