Summary: A punch gives this cigar the perfect resistance. Rye, wood, flowers, and apple crumb pie. There’s a slight candy cinnamon that is doing naughty things with the apple crumb pie. Flawless ash and burn.
Second third is beginning with añejo tequila. The complexity is flattening out now but I’m still thoroughly enjoying this stick. Mushrooms and baking spices.
The burn stays consistent into the final third. Grilled chicken with a subtle BBQ sweetness. Went out on me but I’m watching the NBA Finals so I’ll take the blame for letting it die out. Lays Chips.

Editor’s Note: Knowing Dom, I feel like Smoochin’ babes and Rye are interchangeable for either criteria.

Summary: The draw on this cigar was loose, and that definitely impacted my experience with it. It needed to burn hot in order to stay lit. That's never the dream.
This cigar started with a lot of peanut, bread, and pepper. There were also cedar, lemon, and hay notes. As it progressed, it added creaminess, leather, popcorn, and oak. Earth joined in later in the cigar as well.
The flavors were more on the subtle side on this cigar - they didn't jump out and smack me in the face. That said, the draw was a bit of a mess on this sample. So I wouldn't expect the flavor experience to have been perfect.

Summary: The cigar destined for ashes this week was a light to medium brown color. Even though the cigar felt fully packed, it still passed that Charmin squeeze test with just the right amount of give to it. While the wrapper wasn't overly fragrant, dry hay, leather and a dash of cinnamon danced in the air. The cold draw was perfection in resistance and bland in flavor.
Early notes included suede leather, oak, brief flashes towards bran flake cereal, dry earth and a medium amount of pepper on the retrohale. As the cigar gained some heat, creamy cinnamon and cedar. While floral profiles tend to be a taste I shy away from, the floral notes finding their way into the mix are quite pleasant. Through the middle of the cigar and nearly to the end, the floral notes became creamy with leather, oak and mild pepper spice holding steady right to the end. The only real change towards the end was some very mild, natural tobacco flavors.
The shining points for this cigar were in its construction. Perfect draw, perfect smoke, and an ash that only fell twice throughout the entire smoke time.
If You Like That, You Might Like This: If you like this then you probably like that meal you hated as a kid.
Pairing Suggestion: Pair this with a sweet bourbon, sweet tea or in the morning, strong black coffee.
