Patina Sumatra

Mo Maali’s story is one that we’ve all got brewing in the back of our minds. From consumer to reviewer to podcaster, Mo dove into the cigar world and made his dreams come true by founding the Patina brand. Sumatra has always been a leaf that he’s enjoyed, and after several years he finally developed a blend that captured his favorite parts of the Sumatra wrapper. Sumatra begins earthier before yielding to sweeter tasting notes with a backdrop of baking spices, calling on a Connecticut Broadleaf binder to help shoulder the burden along with filler tobaccos from Nicaragua and the U.S. for body and strength.
