Pairing cigars with alcohol (or non-alcoholic beverages, if that's your jam) is a highly discussed topic among aficionados.  Some cigars are best smoked without an accompanying beverage, but many are blended with a specific drink in mind.  The Diplomatico is one such cigar, as it was specifically blended to pair with Diplomatico Rum (hence the name). 

A quick note: this is not an infused cigar, nor was the tobacco stored or aged in rum barrels.
