"PDR Cigars has true Dominican roots located in Tamboril Dominican Republic. PDR uses a complex rolling technique called “Entubado” which is a special technique of bunching the filler tobacco. This lets you build a more complex filler bunch by adding more tobacco but placing it in a way that the draw is always desirable. For many years there was only one Dominican cigar manufacture that had a Dominican Puro. PDR now has four Dominican Puro’s, first is our PDR 1878 Capa Oscura, PDR 1878 Capa Habana and the new cigar for 2012 Flores y Rodriguez Cabinet Seleccion that uses Dominican grown Habano Vuelta Abajo tobacco. Brazilian grown tobacco has received a lot of popularity in the last ten years. We use Brazilian tobacco on our PDR 1878 Capa Madura. This cigar was blended as a mild to medium body cigar, one you could smoke back to back. The next cigar we use Brazilian tobacco on is PDR Small Batch Reserve, that was released in 2011. It uses a Brazilian Cubra Habano wrapper. This cigar uses the“Entubado” construction. A must smoke." - Taken from PDR cigars
