Discussion Contest: Favorite Virtual Meet & Greet

Discussion Contest: Favorite Virtual Meet & Greet

Happy Wednesday, folks!

We’ve been prepping the next few weeks of Virtual Meet & Greets and want to know what some of your favorites have been since we started this off!

What Has Been Your Favorite Virtual Lounge Experience To Date?

Login and comment below for a chance to win a Small Batch gift card this Sunday!

And it doesn’t have to be a certain night, maybe you have a favorite part of every Meet & Greet.  Or maybe you haven’t attended one yet, and just want to tell us who you’d be interested in engaging with from the roster we’ve setup below in advance.

If you didn’t know, we’ve been hosting Virtual Lounges with a special guest every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday night for almost a month now.  Whoa!  Time flies. Feels just like yesterday. And I should mention, we didn't start out with the idea of hosting various guests from the industry.  That came from a suggestion, and a very good one at that.

Here is our current lineup for future dates:

This Week (All 5:30pm EST)

24th Friday: Omar De Frias, Fratello (includes a Fratello Contest)

25th Saturday: Justo Eiroa, JRE Tobacco

26th Sunday: Dion and Brian, Illusione

Next Week (All 5:30pm EST)

1 May Friday: Nish Patel, Rocky Patel

2 May Saturday: Indiana Ortez & Family, AgroTobaccos

3 May Sunday: James Brown, Black Label Trading Co

The Week After (Various Times)

8 May Friday: Juan Martinez, Joya de Nicaragua 7pm EST

9 May Saturday: Steve Saka, Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust 5:30pm EST

10 May Sunday: Riste Risteski, Jas Sum Kral 5:30pm EST

Join us anytime! Here is our information on Zoom:

I haven’t attended one but the one with Dion would be pretty sweet. And of course Saka.

Given that I just purchased a box of the Aladino Corojo Reserva (my first box, actually), I am very intrigued by the visit with Justo Eiroa!

Alex, congrats on your first box purchase!

I have not had the chance to do a meet & greet in the virtual world and just heard about this concept recently. I love to search the internet for articles and videos about cigars but with social media I'm not as up to date. The lineup is solid coming up and would love to see videos on this, but is Facebook the only way? Have enjoyed watching your videos with Cigar Noise on YouTube in the past and gained some early knowledge on cigars when I first started this hobby.

Alan, if you shoot me a message on Instagram @CigarNoise I can provide you the link as well.  Unfortunately, we use the Facebook group to post the links because they change every time we go live.

Unlike with the CigarNoise Virtual Lounge, we don't have a permalink that we can invite everyone to at a certain time.  Zoom allows for up to 100 people to chat live, and the other system only alllowed 10 people to participate total.

We've considered using our email list, but we really hate sending too much mail to everyone.  The last thing we want to do is both someone's inbox

I just found out about this.  I am looking to attend the one with Dion.  He seems like an enigma and makes many blends I enjoy.

I only attended one but it was awesome. I had the chance to talk to Robert Caldwell. It was really exciting because I'm a huge huge Caldwell fan. The last tsar was one of my favorite cigars I'd ever smoked. To be able to express that to the people who work and founded the company was amazing. I really can't thank small batch enough for this cigar enthusiast to have the chance to communicate with a favorite maker. All the people in the zoom chat busted chops like old friends and I had just met them. This is why the cigar hobby is so incredible. Thank you to small batch and thank you for Caldwell cigars for making this happen!!!!

Congrats Tracy!  And thanks to everything else for participating :D

Awesome thanks for the gift!!!  Look forward to the next time I get to join one.

Haven't attended any yet, but looking forward to Eiroa and Dion this week!

I've not participated in one of these yet, but after reading about them will give one a shot.  Looks interesting. Sorry I missed the one with Caldwell.
